I have been present to how our thoughts, (my thoughts), create our reality.
When we consciously choose to put our attention on what appears to be happening in the world, we create exactly how we perceive it to be, because it is our programming. It is what we know, until now.
For instance, when we see the news and all the fear being projected, we can easily become caught up in that fear based energy. What happens when we unconsciously become caught up in that energy? We generate more of it inside ourselves and in the Universal energy.
I am inviting you to consider:
Simply be present to how you feel when these emotions present themselves.
Notice if the energy of the emotions create lightness or heaviness in your body.
If the feelings make you feel heavy, then, decide how you can make a new choice about where you put your focus. This requires creating new habits and responses. Choose thoughts that are light in nature, you know what these feel like.
Yes, life presents itself to us and it may even appear we have NO choice. Mostly because we feel powerless to do anything about current circumstances. When we are at the mercy of our life experience and beliefs, we only know how to react to the external.
When we decide to become aware of our mind, we are always at choice. This requires our mindfulness and awareness of our thoughts and where we are placing our attention.
Being conscious and mindful REQUIRES us to:
It is helpful when you realize what your trigger is, then, you can choose now (before you get triggered) what you want to do different WHEN it happens.
Sometimes we only know we want something different, yet, we have no idea how to choose any other way.
